Wedding Photography at Haywards Heath
My husband and I have known Ben for many years so when he asked me to photograph his wedding I didn’t hesitate to say yes! Ben and his partner are from the south and so were getting married at Haywards Heath Town Hall and later celebrating at the United Services Club.
I arrived early at the Town Hall just as Ben and Graham arrived with their bridesmaids. They were both very excited but also a touch nervous. The nerves soon started to ease as their guests started to arrive and take their seats. When everyone was seated the chaps walked down the aisle accompanied by their dads. The ceremony was great, relaxed and heartfelt and witnessed by all those close to the couple.
Following the ceremony the wedding party ventured out onto the balcony, while all their friends and family congregated outside the Town Hall for a whole group photograph. The couple then made their way downstairs to join their guests and were greeted by a shower of confetti. Following this there was prosecco on the lawn and a few group photos. As the guests then made their way over to the reception venue, we had a few moments for some couple shots before joining everyone else.
The reception was laid back, relaxed and great fun with tonnes of food and drink flowing, the guests were happy and ready to party. The couple cut the cake, a gorgeous colourful rainbow cake, and followed this with their first dance. Their first dance was performed by their friends, a local band, and as a special treat they also performed one of Ben’s favourite songs as their “second, first dance”.
Ben and Graham’s wedding day was such a happy day, enjoyed by all their nearest and dearest. I was proud to be able to record their forever memories for them and wish them a long and happy future together. Thank you, Ben and Graham, for having me as your wedding photographer.
Here are my favourite photos from their awesome day.
