Wedding Photography at Mytton Fold, Langho.

I love Christmas time so I just had to share some photographs from The Magical Christmas Wedding of Hannah & Stephen that took place just a few days after Christmas Day.

Following the engagement shoot, I was very excited about photographing this wedding, listening to all their wedding plans it sounded like the day was going to be magical and a lot of fun. When Hannah and Stephen booked me I had a chance to meet Hannah’s Mum and I knew then that I’d be surrounded by lovely people and I wasn’t wrong!

When I arrived at Hannah’s home for the bridal preparations, Hannah was really relaxed and laid back. There was a small amount of concern as one of the page boys (Hannah’s nephew) had just started with Chicken Pox and so would not be able to attend and so a babysitter needed to be found. However, Hannah took it all in her stride and didn’t let it upset her day. When Hannah was ready she looked absolutely amazing in her dress, which was complimented with a lovely long veil.

Meanwhile, at Mytton Fold in Langho, near Blackburn, they chaps were ready and waiting, and Stephen was keen to see his bride. The ceremony room was beautifully decorated and the colour scheme was red, very Christmassy. The back wall was filled with a star-field curtain and the tiny twinkly fairy lights added to the Christmas feel. The ceremony itself was simply beautiful and romantic and Hannah looked so very happy.

The weather that day was fantastic, a little cold but there was plenty of winter sunshine. Following the ceremony there was some fantastic afternoon light so I took the opportunity to take some amazing photographs of the happy couple. Following the formal photographs the couple then joined their guests for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were a big hit with many funny anecdotes and just enough embarrassing tales to have everyone laughing, especially the bride.

I was totally bowled over by the welcome of their lovely families and friends.  Their wedding was such an amazing day ! I Loved the idea of the Reindeer names as table names too. I wish Hannah and Stephen an amazing future together, I would also like to thank them for having me as their wedding photographer as well as for their hospitality and friendship that magical day.

I hope you love these photographs as much as I do!
