Wedding Photography at All Saints, Barnacre & The Lancaster Brewery
I arrived at All Saints church in Barnacre in the pouring rain, but even though it was raining I was excited and loved the really rural location and look of this little church. As the guests began to arrive, spirits were high and there were plenty of smiles all around. The guys agreed to a few formal photos outside and luckily the rain wasn’t so heavy at that point. As the guests all took their seats I took shelter at the church gate ready to capture the arrival of Dawn.
Dawn arrived smiling and laughing despite the weather and quickly made her way to the shelter of the church. The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt and the love that Dawn and Andy share clearly shone through. Following the ceremony the rain was still pouring but we were lucky enough to be allowed to photograph the family and wedding party group photos inside the church. Everyone else made their way over to Lancaster Brewery.
When we arrived at the Brewery the rain was still falling. We took a few more group shots along with some couple shots. The guests, meanwhile, were all having a great time socialising with each other and talking about how wonderful the ceremony had been.
When the guests were seated for the wedding breakfast Dawn and Andy were introduced to rapturous applause and following the meal were the speeches. Andy had two best men, both of which gave their own speech. Both were very funny and had the bride and groom in fits of laughter.
Following the speeches my involvement in their perfect day came to an end and I left them to continue their party into the night. Despite the challenging weather conditions that persisted all day, the couple had a fantastic, enjoyable and memorable day and it was a great pleasure to be able to share it with them. I wish them all the happiness for their future together and thank them for having me as their wedding photographer.
