Lindsey began her day at home surrounded by her bridesmaids, parents and children. The morning was chilled with everyone in high spirits and looking forward to the day ahead. The morning passed quickly and before the girls knew it, it was time to leave. Over at Garstang Country Hotel and Golf Club the groom was eagerly awaiting his bride with a hint of nerves.

The ceremony room at Garstang Country Hotel is a fantastic room for a wedding ceremony. With huge windows that look out over the golf course it provides some amazing window light that lights up the whole room. This is just perfect for photographers like me who don’t like to use flash during the ceremony. I like to be inconspicuous (In fact, I’ve been called “The stealth photographer” by a client before) and cause the least disruption possible to the day, so I use only natural light during the ceremony.

Following the ceremony the couple and I ventured out into the Hotel grounds to make use of the stunning gardens for some more formal photographs. These were followed by the group photographs and then the all important confetti photos. After spending some time with their guests it was then time for the Wedding Breakfast and the speeches. The speeches were funny and well delivered and enjoyed by all.

Lindsey and Marks wedding was a truly special day and one, I am sure, they will treasure their memories of forever. I wish them all the very best for their future together and would like to say a huge thank you for having me as their wedding photographer.
