Heskin Hall Wedding Photography - Liene & Gary
Heskin Hall Wedding Photography | Heskin Hall Wedding Photos
Liene and Garys Heskin Hall wedding photography took place on a very sunny day in March. I was really excited when Gary first got in touch and asked me to photograph their special day. I have photographed quite a few weddings at this fabulous venue and it is perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings. Liene and Gary chose to share their day with just their respective families. So, Heskin Hall was an ideal choice of venue for them.
Gary and his best man were the first to arrive at the venue, closely followed by the other guests. As everyone took their seats in the ceremony room the ladies arrived in an awesome stretch limousine. We had some time before Liene had to speak to the registrars so, ever the opportunist, we used the time to take a few group photographs. As the registrars spoke to Liene I made my way to the ceremony room to await the arrival of the bride. It wasn’t long before Liene was escorted down the aisle by her son. Taking her place, next to her groom, the ceremony got underway.
Following an intimate and heartfelt ceremony, the couple and their guests, made their way outside into the sunshine. One of my favourite parts of any wedding day is the confetti throw. I really enjoy this part of a wedding because emotions are high following the ceremony. Also, the fun of the throw always results in some fantastic expressions. After a few photos of Liene and Garys Heskin Hall wedding we moved on to the formal portraits. The grounds of Heskin Hall are a perfect backdrop for both group and portrait photographs. Whether I am photographing 10 people or 100 Heskin Hall provides a stunning backdrop.
Cake & Lego!
Everyone then took their seats for the wedding breakfast. Being a small wedding there was a real intimate feel to the breakfast, as family members chatted over their meal. Following the meal, the best man and groom gave their speeches followed by the father of the groom also saying a few words. The end of the meal was marked by the serving of the Wedding Cake. I can’t mention the cake without also mentioning the awesome lego scene displayed along with the cake. Gary is the founder of Chorley Bricks and as one of the young guests reliably informed me, Gary spends a “Huge amount of time on Lego”. Therefore it was only fitting that Lego feature somewhere in their special day.
As the end of the celebrations approached, everyone moved to the main room for the first dance. With all their guests surrounding them the couple took to the floor to enjoy their first dance as Mr & Mrs. As the first dance ended the couple encouraged everyone else onto the floor. For the next few songs the bride and groom danced with their guests. The dancing done, it was then time for everyone to head home. Liene and Gary’s wedding was both intimate and beautiful and the perfect wedding day. I wish this happy couple all the very best for their future together. It was an absolute pleasure and honour to provide Liene and Garys Heskin Hall wedding photography.
