Annie and Paul were married in St Mary’s Church in Chorley and celebrated at Stanley House Hotel in Mellor. Their Stanley House Wedding Photography began with the groom and bride preparations. I love this part of the day because of all the excitement and quality time spent together before the day really starts to get going. While I headed over to the girls, my friend and second photographer, headed over to the chaps to cover their preparations. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side, but that didn’t dampen any spirits. Annie’s preparations were laid back and included presents for all the bridesmaids.

This couple chose St Mary’s church in Chorley in which to marry because it is their regular church and means a lot to them. Following the ceremony everybody headed over to Stanley House Hotel. This is where the wedding celebrations began. The rain continued to fall but we were lucky enough to be able to find a few gaps in which to get some outdoor shots in the stunning grounds.
