Wedding Photography at Stanley House, Nr Preston
Emma and Ian were married at Stanley House in Mellor with just a few selected friends and family in attendance. The day began with Emma’s bridal preparations at Stanley House. Emma’s mum, gran and daughter were all with her to help her with her preparations. When Emma was ready and looking stunning I headed over to the main building where the ceremony was taking place.
Ian was looking very smart in his suit while he greeted his guests as they arrived. When everyone had taken their seats in the ceremony room the ceremony began with Emma & Ian’s beautiful daughter walking down the aisle as flower girl. Some children can be a little overwhelmed with this role but Alice was loving it, she was beaming from ear to ear and just loving the attention. Once Alice had been shown to her seat by grandma, Emma began to walk down the aisle on the arm of her dad.
Following a wonderful personal and perfect ceremony the guests enjoyed a drink and canapés in the bar. We took a few group photographs before taking some more formal shots of the happy couple. Although the day was cold, the sun was shining through and we managed to take some great photos.
Emma and Ian had opted for of very informal wedding and in line with that, they didn’t want to have a traditional wedding breakfast and there were no speeches. Once everyone was being seated for their meal I left the couple and their guests to enjoy the rest of their very special day.
I’d like to thank Emma & Ian for choosing me as their wedding photographer and I wish them and their beautiful daughter a very long and happy future together.
