Having spent time with Katy and Mark on the engagement photo shoot, I knew they were cool clients. The cool clients who just wanted me to photograph their day without a fuss and for their west tower wedding photography to blend in and not become a large part of the day.

Katy, Mark and their girls are such a lovely family and I was really excited to be photographing their wedding. West Tower itself is a stunning venue for a wedding and oozes luxury and comfort. Katy was preparing for her big day in the Bridal Suite of the hotel. She was accompanied by her two daughters who were just so excited, their smiles and energy lit up the whole room. Katy’s mum was in charge of hair and generally making sure everything ran smoothly, which it did. While the girls were sorting the finishing touches to their dresses and spending a few quiet moments together I went to join the guys and capture a few shots of them before the ceremony began. The ceremony itself was so beautiful and emotional the love Katy and Mark share shone throughout.

It was such a fantastic day I was really very honoured to be able to capture their forever memories for them. I wish them and their beautiful daughters a long and happy future together.
