I had a lovely lifestyle photosoot in Astley Park recently with Sarah, Steve, Julia and Mark. The weather previously had been a bit hit and miss and we were all a bit worried at how it was going turn out. We were, however, very lucky and it stayed dry for most of the time. It did start to drizzle at one point but not enough to stop us.
It was rather cold but I soon had everyone warmed up yomping around the park trying to find some scenic spots. Astley park is a perfect location for outdoor lifestyle portraits with an abundance of different areas but this makes it very popular, so a bit of careful planning and patience is needed to avoid the populated hotspots.
Astley Park is close to the Centre of Chorley and consists of 43 hectares (that’s quite big!) of woodland paths and open fields. It’s a great location for dog walkers and Sarah & Steve brought their super cute King Charles Spaniel, Chilli, along. Chilli managed to get in on the action too with his super cute pose, gotta love those ears!
